We hope everyone is finding themselves well as we celebrate our risen King. We wanted to provide an update for the Friendship Mission, a non-profit, a faith based, Christ driven shelter whose mission is the caring for homeless men on the Kenai Peninsula. 2023 was a very exciting year as we were able help to help over 30 men with shelter while showing them the love of Christ, we could not have done this without your help and support!
Recent changes at Friendship Mission include Brian Wilkes at the Treasury of the Board, Kaden Pribbenow as executive director and Kacey & Ariana Kilby are moving on to a new chapter in their life. We want to greatly thank them for their dedication and sacrifice as they have poured into the Mission for the past year.
Currently we are near capacity at the Friendship Mission and still have many needs and opportunities as follows,
• bible studies
• mentoring, counseling,
• meals, meal preparation
• onsite greenhouse
• firewood
• staff & director positions
• financial support
Please join us in this prayerful time as we seek the Lord’s guidance and direction as we look for the next director(s).
